Low-Enhanced Emission inspections can be applied on the vehicles which are built before 1995 or after 1996 but with a gross vehicle weight of 8,500 pounds. Safety inspections include the vehicles which are older than 25 years as well as lighter than 8,500 pounds.

GROUP 1 – LIGHT VEHICLES

  • Category A1 – All motor vehicles have a seating capacity under fifteen passengers and all motor vehicles (except trailers and motorcycles)have a maximum gross weight that is less than 10,001 pounds.

  • Category A2 – All motor vehicles (except trailers and motorcycles) that have a maximum gross weight over 10,000 pounds and less than 18,001 pounds requests a heavy vehicle inspection.

Inspection Fee: $15.00

  • Category B – All trailers (except semi-trailers) that have a maximum gross weight under 18,001 pounds requests a heavy vehicle inspection.

Inspection Fee: $6

GROUP 2 – HEAVY VEHICLES

  • Category A1 –All motor vehicles that have a seating capacity over fourteen passengers have a maximum gross weight over 18,000 pounds. Heavy vehicle inspection is applicable on the vehicles that have a maximum gross weight over 10,000 pounds and under 18,001 pounds.

Inspection Fee: $20

  • Category A2 –The vehicles that have a maximum gross weight of over 18,000 pounds and under 18,001 pounds requests a heavy vehicle inspection.

Inspection Fee: $12

  • Category B –All semi-trailers.

Inspection Fee: $12

GROUP 3 – MOTORCYCLES

Inspection Fee: $6
